Members E-Mail Database and Privacy Policy
Members will provide ASH with a current e-mail address in order to benefit from services provided to those members included in the ASH e-mail database. ASH will use these addresses to send out important Society information, including a bimonthly e-mail update called ASH NewsLink. ASH will not sell or distribute this list of e-mail addresses to any outside organization or group. ASH will not use this list to send solicitations (except for renewal notices regarding ASH services, such as membership renewal).
Cookies: Internet 'cookies' (mechanisms stored on a person's computer that allow a Web site to identify your computer during current and subsequent visits, usually without your knowledge or consent) used on the ASH site, or on vendor sites that are linked to the ASH site, will not collect name, e-mail address, or any other personal information without the express permission of the user. Information that is stored on a cookie allows the user to personalize the site for future visits, and helps ASH track visitor practices to determine which site features and services are most useful and accessed most often.
No Third Party Downloads: As there are no outside sponsors or any paid advertisers on this site, no images, files, or cookies are downloaded from third party servers that would have the ability to track personal user information.
This policy is updated occasionally but the changes will not reduce the privacy protection of visitors. If there are changes made in the future, the changes will not affect information already collected.
