In the upcoming weeks the House and Senate will begin consideration of the Fiscal Year 2009 appropriation for the drug court grant program.    The Administration has requested zero funding for drug courts.  It is again up to Congress to restore the funding.

We made great strides last year and received a 50% increase in funding.  Let's make this the year we fully restore the funding to $40 million.

Currently, there is a letter circulating in the House and Senate to restore the funding to $40 million.  Call and send this letter to your Members of Congress today to make sure they sign on!  The deadline for Members to sign the leter is March 17, 2008.
