There has been a great deal of concern among members of the health freedom community about the FDA Revitalization Act.  

AAHF’s position is that we are not opposed to restructuring the FDA to increase its efficiency or resolve ethical conflicts and that we oppose using this bill or other bills to attack dietary supplements or integrative medicine.  However, after extensive review of this bill and talking with many members of Congress, it is our expert opinion that this bill does not affect the authority of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA), diminish protection or increase FDA oversight over dietary supplements. We encourage you to use this opportunity to contact your Representatives and remind them to continue to protect dietary supplements and remind them it is imperative that the FDA take steps to remove institutional bias.  Please edit and tell your story.
