The short explanation of this alert was:
The far right is coming after legislative champions who are backing pro-equality bills and we need to stand with our champions right now. Several far-right groups have already sent out e-blasts calling on their members to "kill" these bills. We believe law makers should be applauded for doing the right thing, introducing legislation to ensure all Floridians have the ability to care for themselves and their loved ones. Please call the sponsors and co-sponsors to all of our pro-equality bills and thank them. They need to know our community will stand with them, just as they have stood with us.
