We have never been closer to ending Florida's shameful anti-gay adoption ban and the far right has never been more desperate.

For more than 10 years we've educated the public and lawmakers on the need repeal this bigoted statute that literally tears families apart and denies thousands of children permanent loving homes.

Public opinion is now on our side and this past year, two Florida judges have ruled the law unconstitutional. One case being fought right now by our partners at the ACLU is likely to end up before the Florida Supreme Court.

We must continue to build the the support of our neighbors and our elected officials, or anti-gay forces will use the ballot box and the state legislature to overturn any victories achieved in the courts.

We must continue to lobbying our elected leader. We must talk to voters one-on-one. We must ensure coverage in the media includes the stories of our children and our families.

Every respected child welfare agency in the country recognizes that this ban is a travesty that destroys families - we can end it - for good - with your help.
