Dozens of students, parents, teachers and youth advocates are in Tallahasse this week lobbying for safer schools.

Even if you can't be in the Capitol, you can still join the effort.

Take just a minute and send a quick email to your legislators, asking them to support a fully inclusive Safe Schools bill.

For eight years students have come to Tallahassee to meet with legislators during Equality Florida's Safe Schools Lobby Day. They have written letters and visited lawmakers in their home districts - thousands of students. They have shared their chilling stories of the harassment and abuse that happens daily in their schools. And every year students who experience anti-gay attacks, possibly the most common and violent attacks in our schools today, have helped to lead this coalition with their stories.

Your email will let lawmakers know that they are being held accountable for protecting all students.
