Learn ways you and your friends, church and campus colleagues, and others can help reduce poverty and hunger throughout the world by convincing Congress to fund effective poverty-focused development assistance programs. Hear stories that show how people are taking hold of solutions. Get the advocacy tools, the creative spark, and the knowledge you need to make a difference in ending hunger and poverty!
Breakout sessions will offer insights on a range of domestic and international issues. Members of Congress have been invited to offer remarks.
This workshop is offered free of charge. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Morning refreshments will be available and lunch will be served, with a donation to defray expenses invited.
The workshop is cosponsored by the Justice and Advocacy Committee of the Lehigh County Conference of Churches.
