 Discovering Many Faiths: Richmond's Hidden Treasure

Mission Statement: The mission of Discovering Many Faiths is to enable participants to gain insights and appreciation of diverse Faiths through dialogue with believbers of other Faiths and visitation to their worship services.

Objectives: A series of featured Faiths will be explored through panel discussions among diverse faith practitioners, personal interactions, and opportunities to visit worship services of each featured Faith.

Eckankar Faith

Discussion Date: Thursday, May 8th, 2008

Worship Visit: Sunday, May 18th,  2008

Each program in the series consists of three parts:

1) A panel consisting of a Religious Leader along with men, women and youth of that faith who will share the basic tenets of their faith and what it means to be a member of that faith.

2)A round table discussion will follow in which the audience partispants may ask questions of the panelists in an informal "cafe-style" setting.

3)An invitation to attend a worship service will be extended by the panelist.
