Northern Virginia Chapter

On Sunday, December 4 the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy will offer its 2005 Social Justice U program for those interested in learning about legislative issues that may come before the Virginia General Assembly in 2006.  The program will be held from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church, 9019 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, two miles west of I-495. 

Workshops include:

                         PayDay Loans and the Working Poor

                         Indigent Defense and Virginia Justice

                         Mercury in Children's Vaccines.

Participants will attend a general session on actions and resources available to citizen advocates who endeavor to influence legislation toward a more just and compassionate commonwealth.
