The Hudson Valley Community Preservation Act would enable local communities to vote on creating Community Preservation Funds to safeguard drinking water and protect working farms and open space. The bill has seen significant progress in Albany, but we need your help to bring it to a vote in the state Assembly and Senate. It is critical that you take action RIGHT AWAY so your elected officials move on this before the legislature's summer recess begins at the close of session on June 21.

Urge them to support the Hudson Valley CPA and chapter amendments to bring Ulster and/or Orange counties on board. Use the legislator lookup feature of Scenic Hudson's Web site to find the phone numbers of your Senator and Assemblyperson.
