Join faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends from the College of Biological Sciences, College of Natural Resources, College Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, and the University of Minnesota Extension Service to visit with legislators at the Capitol. This is a great opportunity to educate legislators about the value of the University of Minnesota to the state.

On your behalf, we will schedule face-to-face meetings with your legislator. Face to face meetings are an effective way to influence legislators, and are key to building legislative support for the U's full capital request.

Also on this day, you are invited to attend the Senate Higher Education Committee meeting from noon-2:30 p.m, as time permits.

Brief orientation and training sessions will be provided at the Capitol before your meeting with legislators. Transportation to and from the St. Paul Campus and the Capitol will be provided. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes. Once you've signed up, we'll send you a confirmation notice with more details.
