Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) volunteers help animals after natural and human-caused disasters. EARS volunteers are trained to rescue, shelter, feed, exercise, groom and comfort animals until they can be reunited with their caregivers or placed in new homes.
To become an EARS volunteer, you must attend our day-long training workshop. The fee of $85 includes the newly updated training manual, an EARS volunteer t-shirt to wear to disaster responses, an official photo ID badge and a certificate of completion. When you register 12 weeks in advance, you receive $10 off the registration fee!
