After natural and human-caused emergencies, Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) volunteers shelter and comfort displaced animals until they can be reunited with their owners or placed in new homes.
To become an EARS volunteer, you must attend our seven-hour training workshop. Registration includes an EARS volunteer handbook, lunch, an EARS t-shirt to wear while volunteering, a photo ID badge and a certificate of completion. Participants must be age 18 or older. Advance registration required.

Workshop preparation: Before attending the workshop, participants are encouraged to complete FEMA's IS-100: Introduction to Incident Command System course. You can learn more about this course HERE.
