This website is owned and operated by UAN for the benefit of our members and other visitors interested in animal rights, advocacy, protection and welfare. Information you provide voluntarily. UAN collects and maintains certain personal information about you when you send us an email or complete any of our online forms. These activities include requesting information, donating or subscribe to one of our online news alerts. Such information may include your name, mailing address, and email address; it may also include the email addresses of those to whom you forward UAN electronic content, and any other information collected in the forms. You may be asked to provide credit card information to become a member of UAN, contribute to UAN or purchase information or materials from UAN.

Occasionally we may make such voluntary information, excluding credit card information (which we never disclose), available to other animal organizations. UAN uses very strict standards in determining which reputable animal organizations become part of our network to ensure they are committed to the protection of visitors' privacy and to UAN’s mission. If you are a UAN member and would like to review, update or remove your information, or if you do not wish your information to be shared with other animal organizations, please email us. If you are not a UAN member but you have provided information to us through our site via the methods listed above, your information will not be shared.

UAN uses generally accepted, industry-standard security systems, software, and encryption technologies to protect against unauthorized access to UAN servers, equipment, and other components of our online presence.
