Push for a fall special session!
We need your help to bring Gopher football back to campus. Contact Gov. Tim Pawlenty and your legislators today and let them know you want the governor to call a special session this fall so the Legislature can approve funding for the state's share of a new Gopher football stadium.

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
I am writing today to urge you to support a special session this fall to pass a Gopher stadium bill. Securing state support this fall is critical for the University of Minnesota to sustain the momentum it has built to date.
In particular, the $37.5 million in sponsorship deals with TCF and Best Buy could be in jeopardy as they expire before March 2006.
The University is one of the state's greatest assets. A new campus home for our state's only Division I football team will benefit the University, Gopher fans, and the people of Minnesota for generations to come.
